70% of Wad Al-Bukhait residents are displaced

In the second month of the conflict, the displacement of residents in the Wad Al-Bukhait and Al-Nahda areas, adjacent to the military zone of Karari, one of the key army camps in Omdurman city, continues at a rate exceeding 70%.

The residents have fled to nearby towns or other states.

moatinoon has observed limited commercial activity in the area, aimed at providing essential services for the remaining citizens who are unable to leave due to their deteriorating economic conditions and the inability to escape the area.

The streets of the area are completely empty of children and young people, with a 100% absence.

The region suffers from frequent power outages, and water supply disruptions that last for long hours.

On the first day of the war, the area witnessed intense shelling, resulting in the death of three civilians.
