Artillery shelling in North Omdurman injures 7 people

Seven people were injured in the Wad Al-Bakheet area in North Omdurman this Sunday morning as a result of a shell landing in their gathering place.

A source told Citizens that the Rapid Support Forces fired several artillery shells from their positions in North Bahri towards the Wadi Sidna base and the surrounding military areas in North Omdurman. The shelling caused damage to some residential buildings and resulted in injuries to the citizens, who were transported to the nearest hospital, with some of them in critical condition.

The Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces have been exchanging artillery fire since 9 a.m. until noon today
