Launch of an American Platform to Monitor Sudans Conflicts

Moatinoon
The spokespersons office of the U.S. Department of State announced the launch of a platform to monitor violations in Sudan. In a statement released by the office yesterday, they stated that they are monitoring the activities of the warring parties.

The statement revealed that Washington has documented multiple serious violations from both sides using satellite imagery and data analysis from open sources.

The U.S. Department of State announced yesterday that some monitoring results will be publicly published through the Sudan Conflict Monitoring Platform. They will provide independent reports and experts on conflict activity in Sudan, including the damages inflicted on infrastructure committed by the combatants, military equipment movements, and rapid population shifts.

The Observatory Program affirmed the United States commitment to transparency and working with partners to end the military conflict in Sudan, address human rights violations and abuses, and ensure immediate and unimpeded access to humanitarian assistance.
