Moatinoon: Altaqi Osman
An Egyptian bus driver met his demise after suffering a heart attack on the Halafa Ashkit road at kilometer 916.

The bus driver attempted to turn back towards the Egyptian border halfway to Halafa to save himself, but the bus got stuck in a ravine on the side of the road. The driver disembarked towards the border as travelers rushed to take him with them, but he passed away minutes after reaching them.

Eyewitnesses reported that the driver tried to maneuver the bus in a narrow section of the road to turn back quickly, but the ravine on the sides of the asphalt prevented him from doing so. He hurriedly left the bus and was seen staggering and walking with difficulty.

The driver was operating an empty carriage without passengers and without a companion. The bus, bearing the number 2094, belongs to the Egyptian International Tourism Company, which operates in passenger and cargo transportation between Sudan and Egypt.
