12 Civilians Killed in Nyala

 

Yesterday, Saturday, 24th June, 12 civilian citizens were killed due to the ongoing shelling and mutual bombings that have been falling on residential areas since then and continue until today, Sunday.

In the latest preliminary statistics from the clashes in Nyala city, yesterday, the 24th of June, the Darfur Lawyers Association and Partners, a non-governmental legal organization monitoring the situation in Darfur, stated that the mutual projectiles fell on the victims homes in the neighborhoods of Al-Imtidad, Al-Sinema, Al-Wadi, and Al-Riyadh in Nyala city on Saturday.

They explained that the casualties are as follows:

Al-Imtidad Neighborhood:

Mohammed Saeed Mohammed Ibrahim (Jaddou).
Mohammed Nagi Ahmed Nama.
Al-Sinema Neighborhood:
3. Al-Astaz Al-Jalil Bakht, owner of Bakht Schools chain.

Son of Al-Astaz Bakht, Bakri Bakht.
Ahmed Abdelhamid (Abu Ayyoun Kahila), an employee at Faisal Islamic Bank branch in Nyala city.
Mohammed Sir Al-Khatim.
Al-Wadi Neighborhood:
7. Mona Abdelmoula Saeed.

Ibrahim (Abu Kourik), injured at work in Al-Wadi neighborhood by a stray bullet.
Al-Riyadh Neighborhood:
9. Hawa Abdurrahman.

Al-Jumhuriya Neighborhood:
11. Mohammed Abdelqader.

Ahmed Mohammed Omar, an employee at the Tax Department in Nyala, who was martyred after leaving the morning prayer. He was receiving condolences from those who called him to offer their sympathy and condolences on the death of his wife, who passed away in the previous evening.
