452 people reported missing in Khartoum State

A lawyer registered a criminal complaint regarding the disappearance of 452 individuals in Khartoum state.

According to the Demand Bodies Association, Lawyer Othman Al-Basri filed a complaint with the Public Prosecution in Wad Madani city on behalf of the families of the missing persons due to the ongoing war for approximately three months.

The complaint, which included a list of the missing persons names, was registered at the Wad Madani prosecutors office since the prosecutors offices in the three Khartoum cities were unable to function.

The Sudanese Association for the Families of the Disappeared supported this important and necessary legal action, allowing for investigation and inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the disappearance of citizens during the armed conflict.
