Faisal Islamic Bank suspends salaries of 1,100 workers and imposes forced leaves

Moatinoon
Faisal Islamic Bank Sudan has suspended the salaries of approximately 1,100 employees and workers in various branches of the bank in Khartoum State, as well as in Kordofan and Greater Darfur states, and sent them on unpaid leaves, including other financial benefits.

The bank stated in an internal memo, We have started sending unpaid leaves to colleagues who are not regularly working.

This action, described as illegal, has caused a state of frustration and severe discontent among the employees and their families, who are already suffering from displacement and hardship due to the ongoing war in Sudan since mid-April last year.
