An airstrike by the Sudanese army against the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) killed 20 people in Kalakla al-Qubba area south of Khartoum.

A statement by resistance committees said that this morning the area awoke to aerial bombardments targeting RSF positions, resulting in fatalities, including children, as well as wounded numbers.

The statement added that the area had shifted from direct confrontation between the parties, resulting in the displacement, torture and enforced disappearance of citizens by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), to an area targeted by military aviation.

According to AFP news agency, in an earlier statement, the resistance committees said that 11 people were killed, including two children and a woman, in the morgue of one of the few hospitals, which is still operating in the capital Khartoum.
