One killed and seven injured among civilians in El Fasher

One person was killed and at least 7 others were injured among civilians as renewed clashes erupted between the army and the Rapid Support Forces in the city of El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur state, today.

A coordination committee for the resistance committees in El Fasher stated that the clashes, in which both parties used all types of heavy and light weapons, continued until this afternoon around the Abu Shouk camp north of El Fasher.

The coordination committee reported that a shell fell in the health center affiliated with the International Rescue Committee as a result of indiscriminate shelling between the two parties, and that patients, volunteers, and medical staff are trapped inside the center.

The coordination committee called for raising the voices of those who reject this war.
