Port Sudan Resistance Mobilizes Peace Marches

Coordinating committees of the resistance in the city of Port Sudan, Red Sea State, announced that they will organize peace marches on Thursday, September 14th, in rejection of the ongoing war between the armed forces and the Rapid Support Forces.

In a statement issued yesterday, the coordination committee stated that they will continue their peaceful marches, with their destination being the trust of the Red Sea State government.

The statement added that the marches will begin at 4 PM after determining the starting point, under the slogan War Cessation Marches, declaring their rejection of transforming East Sudan into hiding places for the National Congress militias and a headquarters for those fleeing from the senseless death.

The coordination committee called on all comrades in the resistance committees and anti-war forces to intensify efforts to stop the war and alleviate the suffering of the people.
