Death and Injury of Dozens Due to Aerial Bombardment

Two citizens were killed, and twenty others, including six children, were injured today, Saturday, in the southern belt area of the capital Khartoum due to an aerial bombardment, according to volunteers in the area.

The Emergency Room of the Southern Belt, which is active in providing humanitarian assistance in the region, said in a statement today that the aerial bombardment caused almost total destruction of the Abu al-Hawl Medical Center (now out of service) and caused partial damage to three adjacent houses. Roofs also collapsed on the western side of the Bashayer Hospital.

The statement included a list of the victims names, ranging in age from three months to 60 years, and added that some of the wounded are in critical condition.
