Al-No Teaching Hospital in Omdurman was subjected to intensive artillery shelling this morning, which resulted in the death of 4 people and a large number of injuries among civilians, as well as the destruction of the hospitals infrastructure, and its complete shutdown.

The hospital administration decided to evacuate it following the repeated shelling that targeted it yesterday and today.

The Preliminary Committee for the Sudan Doctors Union said that the continued targeting of health facilities is a direct targeting of the lives of civilians and their properties, and those who did not die from the shelling died due to the lack of healthcare services.

The Committee considered what is happening as war crimes with all their components, which have been committed against the nation and innocent civilians over the past months.

The Committee appealed to the citizens of Omdurman to stay away from the vicinity of the hospital and the surrounding facilities, and to take caution and be careful.

On October 3, a health center in Al-Samerab was bombed, resulting in the death of 14 civilians.
