Assault on the Workers of New Al-Ban Hospital and Corpses in Al-Fateehaab

A force from the Rapid Support Forces attacked the medical staff of New Al-Ban Hospital in East Nile, last Saturday.

The East Nile Emergency Room said in a statement that one of the Rapid Support Forces personnel assaulted a doctor while she was working, and others fired shots in front of the hospital as threats to the workers, medical staff, and volunteers present inside the hospital.

The room decided to temporarily close the hospital until the attackers are held accountable.

The Rapid Support Forces, which control the area, were held responsible for the safety of the medical staff and volunteers and were asked not to repeat such incidents.

The room threatened to permanently close the hospital if the workers and volunteers in it are exposed and their lives are threatened.

On the other hand, the Al-Fateehaab Emergency Room in Omdurman revealed the lack of most life-saving medications, chronic disease medications, first aid tools, and laboratory materials in the health centers in the Al-Fateehaab area under its supervision.

The Al-Fateehaab room revealed the deteriorating environmental situation due to the accumulation of household and medical waste and the proliferation of disease vectors. The statement said that there are open graves due to the swelling of the corpses and the digging by dogs.
