Juba seems important to contribute to Sudans solution.

The FFC continued its visits outside the Sudan in search of "ways to stop the war since April and restore the path of democratic transition", which was interrupted by the 25 October 2021 coup d état.

A delegation with extensive representation of freedom and change for days in the city of Juba, the capital of South Sudan, to meet with the President, Salvaker Myardet, and other Juba Government actors as credible mediators of the warring parties, the Army, the Rapid Support Forces and the rest of the Sudans political forces.

In fact, the Alliance of Forces for Freedom and Change (FFC), the most prominent political alliance in the Sudan, conveyed to Juba its insights secured through its recent conference in Cairo to resolve the crisis arising from the 15 April war, the deterioration of the humanitarian and economic situation and its repercussions on the Sudanese people, and its explanation to the Head of State of South Sudan, Salvakir, Salvaker Mayardit (Civil Front for the Restoration of Democracy), which began its initial formative stages in Addis Ababa last month, bringing together as many political forces as possible, with the exception of the dissolved National Congress Party (NCP).

The delegation also explained to the South Sudanese President the need to prevent the multiplicity of platforms for a solution to the Sudanese crisis and to adopt the "Jeddah Platform" sponsored by the United States of America and Saudi Arabia to stop the war between the military and the Rapid Support Forces and increase its representation more comprehensively. In FFCs view, stopping the war is a top priority, followed by a comprehensive and just political solution leading to a single national and professional army, democratic civilian rule and sustainable peace in the Sudan.

The delegation of Freedom and Change requested Salvaker to communicate with the two leaders, Abdul Wahid Mohamed Nur and Abdel Aziz Al-Hilu, to engage in resolving the Sudanese crisis, and that the Government of South Sudan play a role in resolving by intensifying its contacts with the Sudanese Army, the Rapid Support Forces and the parties (Peace Juba) of the Armed Movements.

For the sake of long-standing and timely considerations, Juba seems important to the Sudanese solution; Government of Southern Sudan executives (a country that was independent of the Sudan a decade ago) have political and economic ties with the parties to the conflict in the Sudan, Abdel Fattah al-Burhan and Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo.

These strong relationships are usually not clearly expressed in the media. This relationship may have enabled President Salvaker Mayardit and his advisers to build on it, play a positive role with the international and regional community to stop the war and adopt the option of a peaceful and negotiated solution to end the absurd war in Khartoum.

The Sudan and South Sudan share a long and wealthy border, home to millions of overlapping populations, overlooking the hottest areas: Darfur and Southern Kordofan, along with the passage of the South Sudans petroleum pipeline, which means the impact of the war on southern Sudan as it continues.

Part of the quality of the extended relationship with the Government of Southern Sudan is the Rapid Support Forces permission over the past month to facilitate the functions of technical teams operating in Southern Sudan petroleum pipes and pumping stations, although they know that the proceeds of their fees received by the Sudan go to the financing of the Sudanese army fighting them.

The meeting of the southern Sudanese Presidents Freedom and Change Delegation, held at the headquarters in Juba, endorsed the formation of a joint FFC/Government of Southern Sudan Committee for Communication, Follow-up and Coordination.

According to a statement issued by the Forces for Freedom and Change (FFC), Salfakir affirmed his continuing endeavours with the Sudanese army and RSF commanders and leaders of the international and regional community to accelerate the ceasefire, address the humanitarian disaster and open the way for a Sudanese-owned and Sudanese-led political process to resolve their countrys crisis with dialogue conducive to peace and stability.
