Emergency Room in Al-Hasahisa Calls for Inspection of Shelter Centers

Members of the emergency room in Al-Hasahisa in the state of Al Jazeera have called on voluntary organizations to support and assess the humanitarian situation in all shelter centers in the city.

One of the members told "moatinoon" that the health and nutritional situation of the displaced in the shelter centers is extremely poor, especially with the hospital and health institutions not receiving the displaced patients and the shortage of food. Despite the support coming from organizations in terms of food and medicine, it does not cover all the centers.

He pointed out that the number of displaced people in Al-Hasahisa is large, exceeding sixteen thousand displaced. He confirmed that the industrial school alone accommodates about 3,000 displaced, the College of Education houses about 160 families, equivalent to about 1,000 displaced, and the internal house of the University of the Holy Quran for students accommodates 1,000 displaced. In addition, a large number of them are residing in schools.
