Jeddah Platform... Sudanese proximity to the ceasefire

Leaks from Jeddah, the negotiating headquarters of the parties to the conflict (Sudanese Armed Forces and Rapid Support), revealed a major breakthrough in the ongoing negotiations towards the near conclusion of solutions to end the suffering of the Sudanese people.

The leaks indicated the end of the formal negotiation of a ceasefire, and that the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces agreed on a long truce proposal that could extend for a month, scalable, to reach a comprehensive ceasefire. Mediation is currently examining with the parties a robust plan on how to control troops on the ground during the armistice period and prevent their failure by parties unwilling to stop the war.

The war-rejecting political forces have been striving in every way to urge the parties to engage in dialogue. and engaged in close communication throughout the past, with all parties to stop fighting and contribute to peacemaking of military and civilian leaders and enlightened negotiators, Within and outside the country, including cities engaged in endeavours such as Riyadh, Abu Dhabi and Addis Ababa and Asmara, Nairobi, Juba, Cairo, N Djamena and other African, Arab and Western capitals.

Abdallah Adam Khater, academic scholar and political activist, says that the contacts of political forces also included the interior, especially the capital and displacement areas of the states and migrants.
