Rapid Support Sells Sudanese Radio Equipment at Omdurman Markets

Moatinoon
The Sudanese Journalists Union said that RSF had offered Sudanese radio equipment for sale in Omdurman Market, according to documented witnesses. The union condemned the behaviour and warned against putting the countrys historical legacy at risk of destruction, destruction and extinction forever.

In a statement today, the union noted the vandalism of the Sudanese channels 24 and Al-Balad in Khartoum and the looting of all equipment, as well as the looting of the BBCs office in Khartoum. Equipment for the Blue Nile channel was also seen for sale in the Libyan market in Omdurman.

In its statement, the union also condemned the conversion of the Omdurman City Public Broadcasting Authoritys premises into detention centres, according to witnesses arrested there.

The Journalists Union called on the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) to immediately exit those institutions and on regional and international organizations concerned with press and media freedom around the world to condemn those violations and to work seriously to eliminate the consequences of that aggression.

RSF has been in control of the national radio and television headquarters since the outbreak of the 15 April war.
