Kassala Resistance: Next Steps to Pressure to Stop War in Sudan

Kassala - Moatinoon
The Kassala Resistance Committees said that their choice on the side of stopping war is not only a slogan that must be lifted but must be followed by tireless and epic work waiting for our people to address the catastrophic effects of war, and said that there are next steps in the direction of pressure to stop it.

In a statement yesterday, it declared its unequivocal rejection of the continuing war on the bodies of the people, reaffirming its unparalleled support for stopping the war and charting a clear political path that ends the multiplicity of armies and militias and builds an independent national professional army of political agendas that guards the country and its constitution, which does not govern it.

The statement stated that the war represented a great opportunity for leaders of the direct rescue system to escape from the prisons of justice and to take eastern Sudan and Kassala State as their sanctuary to practise their habits of dividing tolerant communities. She reiterated her confidence in the regimes intolerance and called for its criminals to return to justice prisons.

He added that the continuation of the war meant the continuation of the Sudans territorial disastrity and the continuation of its cliff, especially the regional hubs that not only supported the parties to the war but also supported them with gear and money, "until our country became a battlefield on behalf of the countrys intelligence services, whose choices and resources lingered."

According to the statement, the war had reduced the amount of freedoms the people had taken away by their revolution, pointing to the unjustified arrests of hundreds of parties to the war, the decline in freedoms of expression and assembly "and any unwavering voice of war has been subjected to detention, arrest and torture".

The Kassala Resistance Committees confirmed the path of the December Revolution to end the era of wars, dictatorships and injustice for a better reality and build a new Sudan that everyone can.
