A prominent Sudanese human rights voluntary organization stated today that the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) invaded the Abu Gouta area at dawn on December 14th, a northwestern administrative unit in the Jazeera state, with a force of 20 four-wheel-drive vehicles. They spread throughout the city and established bases after looting the market, the agricultural bank, the court, and the police department, resulting in injuries to three police officers.

The Emergency Lawyers Organization added in a statement today that this occurred despite the absence of any military presence or formations affiliated with the armed forces in the city.

Citizens circulated video footage showing the city of Nyala being subjected to aerial bombardment by the armys aircraft, resulting in the destruction of homes, cutting communication lines, and spreading panic among citizens, some of whom began to return to the city.

A humanitarian convoy affiliated with the International Committee of the Red Cross was attacked on December 11th in the Shajara area in Khartoum. It was supposed to carry hundreds of civilians stranded in Khartoum to Wad Medani city. According to the Red Crosss official statement, the attack resulted in the death of two people and the injury of seven others, including three committee employees. The convoy had entered the evacuation area and consisted of three cars and three buses with the unmistakable Red Cross sign for the purpose of identification.

On the day before the attack on the Red Cross convoy, the air force affiliated with the armed forces attacked the Dubaibat area in South Kordofan. The attack resulted in casualties among civilians, including the pregnant teacher Aisha Al-Khalifa, who also had a child who died due to the bombing. Additionally, Suleiman Mohamed Ali Berto, a student at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of West Kordofan, was killed. Several other severe injuries occurred, exacerbating the suffering of the regions residents due to the lack of a hospital in the area.

The Emergency Lawyers Organization condemned the indiscriminate attack on both military and civilian targets. It highlighted that Dubaibat was a refuge for those fleeing and displaced from the war in the Delanj city in the past few days.
