Catastrophe Facing Cancer, Heart Patients and Children in Wad Madani

Moatinoon
Health activists have warned of a humanitarian and health catastrophe due to the expansion of fighting following the deployment of Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in Al Jazeera State. The pages of social media platforms circulate special warnings about the conditions of cancer and heart patients, along with patients with kidney failure, who were displaced to a civilian friendly for treatment after the outbreak of the war in Khartoum on April 15.

The Womens Invincibility Initiative made an urgent appeal for the rescue of children missing from Sindh who had been deported from Khartoum because of the war to a civilian friendly. The initiative stated that 251 children and 91 mothers working in the shelter were now in the belligerents range.

The United States of America called on the Rapid Support Forces to immediately halt their progress in Island State and cease fire in the Northern Darfur capital of El Fasher.

The statement by the US State Department said yesterday that the attack on a civilian friendly and clashes in El Fasher threatened the lives of civilians and was inconsistent with the RSFs claims that it was fighting to protect the Sudanese people. The statement added that such an escalation undermines and undermines these advances in the efforts to achieve a lasting ceasefire and a negotiated end to the conflict.

The United States Ambassador to the United Nations, Linda Thomas-Greenfield, said: "I urge the RSF to refrain from attacks, and I urge all parties to protect civilians at all costs. the perpetrators (s) of terrorism will be held accountable ".
