Kassala State Emergency Room Sets Up Service Tent for Displaced People from Medani

Volunteers in Kassala state have reported that a large number of displaced individuals from Medani have arrived in the city, and they anticipate an increase in the influx in the coming days, although specific numbers were not provided.

The Kassala State Emergency Room, in collaboration with the Facilitation Committee for Kassala Taxi - Al Souq Al Shaabi, and various volunteer initiatives in Kassala, announced in a statement today, Thursday, that they have set up a tent in the city to receive the displaced.

The tent is expected to provide nursing services, first aid, psychological support, and facilitate housing and other available services.

The statement urged the citys residents to provide temporary housing for the displaced individuals "until their situations are sorted out" and encouraged donations of blankets, mattresses, diabetes and blood pressure medications, utensils, food items, and any other essential supplies.

The statement emphasized that "the emergency room is ready to provide assistance and support to every needy displaced person in Kassala."
