Volunteers in the city of Sennar stated that the city has set up shelter centers to receive displaced people from the capital of Jazeera State, Medani, in the citys schools. The number of these centers has reached 9 until last Friday. They appealed to citizens to support the new centers with food and medicine.

The state is witnessing severe congestion and a wave of displacement within and outside the state, according to their statement on Friday.

The "Sennar Youth Assembly" explained that the shelter centers were established in schools such as Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq Secondary School, Al-Nimadiyya Girls School, New Sennar Girls Secondary School, Farah Wad Tiktok Elementary School, Badi Abushlokh School, Nile School, Zat Al-Nataqain School, Khansa School, and Dar Al-Arqam School. They mentioned a need for drinking water and food in "Sennar Tray and Shelter Centers," in addition to volunteers in the shelter centers and medical staff and nurses for hospitals.

The statement today, Sunday, indicated that "the situation inside the city of Sennar is stable, and life is beginning to return to normal in commercial shops amid a state of fear and tension." Surgical and emergency departments in the main hospital and some private hospitals have resumed work, amid "intensive deployment of the army inside the city."

The assembly mentioned that the military aviation of the Sudanese army bombed a gathering of Rapid Support Forces in the Sennar Sugar Factory area west of the state, causing injuries without specifying the number. This created tension and panic among the citizens, leading to the displacement of some. It was noted that the Rapid Support Forces are still present in the Wad Al-Haddad area, which extended to the Sennar Sugar area.

On the other hand, the assembly stated in a separate statement on Saturday that military intelligence in Singa arrested several volunteers from the Emergency Room while providing meals to passing displaced people in the popular market. This led to the suspension of services and assistance to the displaced without providing any reasons for the arrest. They were taken to the command of the 17th Infantry Division in Singa, where they were subjected to severe beatings, abuse, and deprivation of food. Additionally, several volunteers working in the "Lama Khayr" initiative tent were arrested without any justification.
