moatinoon
Solidarity action groups have called for an end to war and the cessation of military activities in cities and villages, emphasizing the need to provide food, medicine, and essential services.

In a statement issued on January 1st, the groups pointed out that this step should be followed by working towards initiating a national political and democratic process leading to a transitional government and ultimately a democratic governance system.

The group urged all civilian actors, both men and women, to immediately and earnestly engage in organized and diverse action groups to stop the war. It outlined various forms of proven peaceful actions to exert pressure on key actors in this intense armed conflict, aiming to shift the conflict from battlefields to negotiation, politics, and diplomacy.

The solidarity action groups consist of individuals and Sudanese civil society organizations working to enhance social cohesion and local peace.
