Kenyan President Meets Abdulwahid Nur

Kenyan President William Ruto announced today that he received the leader of the Sudan Liberation Movement, Abdulwahid Mohamed Nur.

In a tweet on the Ex platform, he stated, "I emphasized the urgent need for the participation of all active parties in Sudan in the efforts to stop the war, facilitate humanitarian aid access, protect civilians, and support the path towards civilian political rule."

He added, "Kenya welcomes Mr. Nurs declared commitment to supporting the regional roadmap developed by the international governmental body concerned with development to restore peace and security in Sudan."
