Health Center Transforms into Furniture Storage in East Nile

An active health center treating patients has transformed into a storage facility for furniture and some electronic devices in the East Nile region, east of the Sudanese capital Khartoum.

Exploiting the unstable situation due to the war, traders and brokers converted the health center in Unit Square 1, north of the onion shops in the Sitta Market in Al-Haj Youssef, into a storage for furniture such as beds, tables, and cabinets. They also install and maintain them in the presence of patients and medical staff.

On the other side of the market, traders converted most of the lawyers offices on Bank Street into warehouses for food items alongside electrical and medical tools.

The Sitta Market in the Al-Haj Youssef National Unit witnesses rampant chaos despite the flow of goods, foodstuffs, and other necessities for the citizens.
