At Least 4 Killed and 11 Injured in El Fasher

At least four people were killed and others injured as clashes erupted between the army and Rapid Support Forces in El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur state, on Thursday, according to local volunteers.

The Coordination of Resistance Committees - El Fasher stated in a Thursday statement that clashes occurred between army forces and Rapid Support Forces in the northern part of the neighborhoods of Dem Saluk, Revolution North, North Ahlia, Al-Ghaba, resulting in the deaths of four citizens. Two of them were killed due to a projectile in the large market near the Peace Station. Additionally, a mother and her child were killed in their home in the Victory neighborhood due to another projectile. The clashes also left others injured.

The coordination committee mentioned that the Haj Abdul Salam Health Center and Al-Quba Health Center received 11 wounded, one of them in critical condition, including three children. The Haj Yusuf Health Center recorded two fatalities.
