Tomorrow, the French capital, Paris, will host the "International Humanitarian Conference for Sudan and Its Neighbors" sponsored by the European Union, France, and Germany, aiming to find a sustainable solution to the conflict in Sudan and raise funding for humanitarian aid, according to the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs for European Affairs.

The conference will consist of two separate sessions: the first will focus on finding a political solution to the conflict, while the second session will be dedicated to humanitarian workers and international donors to provide humanitarian aid to Sudan.

On Friday, the European Union announced that the High Representative for Foreign Affairs, Josep Borrell, Crisis Management Commissioner Janez Lenarčič, French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Stéphane Séjourné, and German Foreign Minister, Annalena Baerbock, will hold a joint press conference before the "roundtable" session, where the four officials will deliver opening remarks discussing the potential for a political solution to the conflict.

Commissioner for Crisis Management Janez Lenarčič will chair the second session of the conference titled "Humanitarian Response and Challenges in Sudan and Neighboring Countries," which will be focused on humanitarian workers and international donors aiming to raise around 4 billion.

The European Union statement explained that High Representative for Foreign Affairs Josep Borrell will hold a series of bilateral meetings throughout the day, including with the Djiboutian Foreign Minister Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, and will participate with Commissioner Lenarčič in the conclusion of the humanitarian conference alongside French President Emmanuel Macron.

It is known that the conference will include representatives from 20 countries and international organizations, including Sudans neighboring countries, the IGAD, and the African Union. Sudanese civil society organizations, academics, and business communities will also participate in the conference.
