Six Family Members Killed in War, South Khartoum (Janoub Alhizam)

The Southern Khartoum Emergency Response Room reported that six civilians from the same family were killed by a shell on Friday, without specifying its source. Two other family members were injured.

According to a statement from the Emergency Room, residents of Old Salama Block 1 were shocked by the shelling on Friday, resulting in casualties within a home. The victims included a mother, her two sisters, and three of her children:

Randa Mohammed Ahmed Musa, 30 years old, mother of the deceased children.
Noha Mohammed Ahmed Musa, 28 years old, sister of the mother.
Rayan Mohammed Ahmed Musa, 22 years old, sister of the mother.
Ghufran Mohammed Ahmed Isa, 10 years old, eldest brother.
Qamaruddin Mohammed Ahmed Isa, 4 and a half years old.
Amina Mohammed Ahmed Isa, 2 years old.
The statement detailed that two of the children sustained serious injuries, with one losing his right hand and suffering various fractures.

The injured children are struggling to get the necessary wound care, ongoing treatment, and adequate nutrition.

In another statement, the Emergency Room condemned the Rapid Support Forces for arresting a member of the South Belt Emergency Room, "Abdul Rahman (Costa)," on Wednesday, May 15.

The statement affirmed the Emergency Rooms opposition to any targeting of humanitarian and volunteer workers, demanding his immediate release.
