Sennars Sons Alliance estimated the number of persons missing as a result of the RSF invasion of and around Sinja at 850, and stated in a report yesterday that the difficulty of communications and power outages in Sinja, Suki and Dandar prevented their people from communicating with them.

The number of victims killed since the RSF entered Sennar State has reached 297 civilians, with additional numbers expected to remain uncounted, according to the report. While the report was unable to monitor the number of casualties in Sinja and Dunder localities because of communication outages, it was reported that there were numbers of elderly, chronically ill and infant children killed, while in clash areas, due to hunger and thirst, and that the entire state was suffering from power and water outages for the fifth day.

The report said most citizens were displaced from Sennar after shops closed, although Snnar did not experience fighting inside, and predicted that the situation in the state would generally worsen because of difficulty in obtaining water and power outages.

Citizens urgently needed tents and blankets due to rainfall and hail in Sennar and Qadarif States, where displaced persons were based, and food and life-saving medicines after all but some pharmacies in Sennar had been decommissioned and all Sanja hospitals had been decommissioned after being controlled by the RSF.

For its part, the Sinari Observatory for Human Rights condemned the bombing of the city of Sinja by barrel bombs and the violations committed by the Rapid Support Forces against citizens in Sennar State.

According to eyewitnesses, indiscriminate aerial bombardment destroyed homes and facilities in each of the three western neighbourhoods (A. b. c) The neighbourhood and the southern neighbourhood have resulted in massive destruction of property, and injuries and killings among civilians are being ascertained.

The Observatory revealed that it had received information about egregious violations against civilians committed by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in Sinja, where the citys neighbourhoods were swept up and three neighbourhoods were converted into military barracks, according to documented statements and information.
