Lamia Abdullah was forced to extract a "stay" inside Saudi Arabia for her eldest son despite its onerous material cost to them, but her son is supposed to sit this year for the high school examinations that qualify for university. Enrolment in Saudi government schools for non-citizens requires that all registration requirements be met on the electronic "Noor System", which places formal residence as one of the conditions for completion of the registration process.

The Nour Digital Program organizes the entire educational process in the scourge of the Kingdom, under the Ministry of Education, where students, teachers, parents and all educational institutions of the Ministry of Education are connected via an electronic system.

In relation to the material circumstances of "Lamia" and their entry into Saudi Arabia via visitor visa, she will not be able to meet the requirement to obtain residency for all her children and thus attend school "in attendance".

She had no choice but to exclude her eldest son from the rest of his three brothers, and to address the situation of the rest by attending one of the schools remotely "online", or by attending a Sudanese school following the curriculum in the Sudan. All children were studying in the Sudan in the foreign education system.

"Over the past years, I have endeavored to establish my children academically. They were studying in the best foreign schools in Khartoum. Today, I feel that my effort was lost, especially if I had to turn them into an Arabic-language educational path, whether it was a Sudanese curriculum or otherwise."

Many Sudanese families, who entered the Kingdoms territory because of the war through a visa "Visits are family or personal", which suffers from the problem of enrolling their children in schools, whether Government, Arab or foreign, since the educational system in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is linked in its entirety to an electronic system. The electronic registration process is not complete until all registration requirements have been met.

Ahmed Ali, a resident of Saudi Arabias capital, Riyadh, says he researched most private schools last year in his area so he could join his third-grade daughter at the base stage, but his efforts failed.

Some schools were directly linked to the students registration by obtaining valid residence. Others spoke about the possibility of enrolling, paying fees and waiting for the opinion of the Ministry of Education, which may exclude Sudanese students and allow them to be admitted to schools, even though they entered the Kingdoms territory on a "visit" visa, similar to the exception enjoyed by Syrian and right-wing students. However, if the decision is not issued by the Ministry, the registration fee will not be refunded.

In the end, Ahmed, in order not to waste his daughters school year, had to enrol her in one of the schools she agreed to enrol. But certainly, the certificates are not approved by the Ministry, but by the Sudanese Embassy in Riyadh if they want to be transferred to another country.

"The beginning of the previous academic year went to the Ministry of Education to ask about the decision to exclude Sudanese students. The officials told me of a meeting to discuss the matter, but a formal decision has not yet been issued ".

Ahmed Ali also went to the Sudanese Embassy in Riyadh and met with the consul, who stated that they had filed a request to official authorities in the State to exclude Sudanese students from the residency requirement and that they were awaiting a decision.

"I wish, and I appeal to the Government of Saudi Arabia, to issue a resolution with the exception of Sudanese students this year so as to alleviate the suffering caused by the war."

Because of the lack of options for parents, many of them paid their children in Madras simply for agreeing to accept them without restricting the condition of residence.

"I am not satisfied with the level of my daughter this year, I entered the school with an excellent academic outcome, but unfortunately the school year is over and I see that the school was an opponent of us."

"I will begin the journey of searching again for a school whose academic level is well known while at the same time accepting the visiting system."
