Al-Fasher Resistance Committees Coordination announced that the victims of the artillery bombardment targeting the Saudi hospital had risen to 10 deaths and 20 people had been wounded differently.
The Coordinator said in an earlier post this morning that the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) had early started bombing the Saudi hospital in El Fasher, the capital of Northern Darfur State.
The coordinator announced Sunday that 38 people had been killed after targeting a drone in El Fasher market, bringing the death toll this week to 48.
Local activists strongly condemned the attack and called on the international community to intervene urgently to stop targeting civilian and medical facilities.
The Security Council passed a resolution in May this year demanding that the Rapid Support Forces lift the blockade of El Fasher and call on the opposing parties to cease fighting and protect civilians
The Saudi hospital is one of the main medical facilities in El Fasher and serves thousands of civilians in a deteriorating humanitarian situation due to the ongoing conflict that began on May 15.
