Moatinoon
The Minister of Religious Affairs and Endowments of the Transitional Government, Nasruddin Mufarah, called for joining the collective effort for peace, unity and solidarity.
In a letter published today, he said that they have launched the Fasting, Prayer and Friendship for Peace initiative, which aims to bring people of all faiths together to pray, fast and participate in charitable work destined for God to end bloodshed and promote reconciliation.
"As we face these difficult times in the Sudan, I am writing to invite you to join a collective effort for peace, unity and solidarity."
The campaign will begin on Thursday, December 19, 2024, the date marking the anniversary of Sudans declaration of independence in Parliament and the glorious December Revolution.
In order to ensure continuity and maximize impact, this event will be repeated every month until the end of the war in various ways, in order to strengthen the ongoing collective effort for peace, unity and solidarity among the Sudanese people.
