
34 killed victims of a RSF ambush in White Nile State, Sudan

The Centre Appeal Platform, White Nile State, said Tuesday that thirty-four people from Umm al-Qura village were killed yesterday evening by RSF fire in Sharak area, Jabalin locality.
According to a statement issued by the podium, a citizen of Umm al-Qarida was exhumed when he was assaulted by rapid support groups in the area. When his village arrived, they were surprised by an ambush of combat vehicles with rapid support soldiers on board, who opened fire on the citizens.
Meanwhile, local sources revealed that rapid support had captured four Um-villages at a time when the fate of 15 others remained unknown hours after the incident.
Since April 15, 2023, the Sudan has witnessed a bloody war between the armed forces and the Rapid Support Forces, followed by a deep humanitarian crisis. Approximately 10 million internally and externally have registered since the outbreak of fighting, according to United Nations statistics. The conflict has largely destroyed the countrys infrastructure, whose population is now threatened by famine.
Twenty months after the bloody war in the Sudan, between the army led by Abdel Fattah al-Burhan and Mohamed Hamdan Dagalos Rapid Support Forces, the civilian crisis is worsening in many states, amid the ongoing conflict that has killed thousands.
