
``Darfur lawyers`` condemns and warns of violations against civilians in Madani

The Darfur Lawyers Authority warned of the results of the violations published in the media following the control of the city of Wad Madani, capital of Al Jazeera State by the Sudanese Armed Forces and allied forces.
In todays statement, the Authority condemned violations in the city following its recovery, the burning of five campos and the killing of some 13 people, including elders and children, warning of the consequences of the phenomenon of taking the law by hand.
The statement referred to the broadcast of numerous videos, audio recordings, messages and images of practices and abuses of civilians in the city of Wad Madani, the capital of Aljazera state and adjacent areas. It also referred to the authors video of more than 6,800 rapid support collaborators and promises to kill them in the face of the existence of the law and the justice organs.
UN-Women stated that it continued to alert the Rapid Support Command and to call upon it to act to halt the war and the gross violations perpetrated by its elements against civilians in their areas of control, but did not shed any attention.
The Commission considers the violations of the armys elements and agents to be similar to rapid support practices, warning of the persistence of the phenomenon of chaos that will ravage the country and lead to regional and tribal fragmentation.
It called for the cessation of war on civilians heads and the restoration of State organs without prejudice to criminal responsibility for all crimes committed. She called on civilians to exercise restraint and to speak out against hate speech. It also called for the retention of the right to justice and fairness and the prosecution and deterrence of perpetrators of crimes in accordance with the laws rules.
