RSF Artillery Commits a Massacre in Sabreen Market in Omdurman

Sabreen Market in Omdurman witnessed a human massacre this afternoon as a result of the Rapid Support Forces artillery shelling of the area. Eyewitnesses told "Citizens" that the artillery shelling was strong today and came from areas west of Omdurman.

The witnesses added that dozens of citizens were killed immediately near the gas station in the middle of Sabreen Market, including women and children, and that the number of wounded exceeded 100, including women and children, who are being treated at Al-No Hospital to save what can be saved.

A preliminary statistic says that the number of dead among civilians exceeded 50, while there are more than 100 with serious and moderate injuries. Meanwhile, medical teams are trying to transport the bodies and the wounded.

The authorities prevented citizens coming from different areas during the incident from entering the market to preserve their lives.

The areas north of Omdurman have been the target of continuous artillery shelling by the support forces since the outbreak of the war in April 2023, resulting in hundreds of civilian casualties, including dead and wounded.
