The Danagla Resistance Commission south of Khartoum North city accused the RSF of assaulting kitchens and looting foodstuffs supplied from donations.
The Commission complained that South Maritime neighbourhoods had been living in total darkness and permanent power and water outages since the first day of the war to date, with rapid support dominating the region.
The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) had deported residents of Hala Hamad, Hala Khojaly and Sababi from their places to the southern and northern neighbourhood of Danankalah and had attacked kitchens working to assist war-affected citizens on several occasions and attacked those responsible for their management.
It appealed to the authorities responsible for protecting human rights to help and save a South Maritime human being by deporting them to safe areas and providing food, drink and treatment.
The committee said in a statement on its Facebook page that violations had recently been renewed by attacks on the kitchen (tekiah) for two consecutive days, as well as attacks on volunteers by beating and stealing food items. It accused rapid support of looting foodstuffs purchased through donations collected for the neighbourhoods kitchen and communal kitchens in the neighbourhood (Danagla north, Helat Khojli and Helat Hamad), which are on the way before the neighbourhood arrives.
It warned of the risk of hunger as a result of these violations, as well as denying citizens access to the Nile River for water, threatening the region with thirst, and appealed to organizations to facilitate the provision of food and evacuation.
